Panel Layer

The panel layer is generally made of fine patterns and characters on colorless light-transmitting sheets such as PET and PC less than 0.25MM. Because the main function of the panel layer is to play the role of identification and keys, the selected materials must have the characteristics of high transparency, high ink adhesion, high elasticity, high toughness, etc.


Surface adhesive layer

The main function of the surface adhesive is to closely connect the panel layer with the circuit layer to achieve the effect of sealing and connection. This layer generally requires a thickness of 0.05-0.15MM and has high viscosity and anti-aging property. In production, special membrane switch double-sided adhesive tape is generally selected. Some membrane switches require waterproof and high temperature protection. Therefore, the surface adhesive tape must also use materials of different properties according to needs.


Control circuit upper and lower

This layer uses polyester film (PET) with good performance as the carrier of the switch circuit pattern and uses a special process to screen-print conductive silver paste and conductive carbon paste on it to make it conductive. Its thickness is generally within 0.05 -- 0.175MM, and the most common is 0.125MM PET.


laminated layer

It is located between the upper circuit and the lower circuit layer and plays the role of sealing and connection. PET double-sided adhesive tape is generally used, and its thickness varies from 0.05mm to 0.2mm. When selecting the material of this layer, the overall thickness, insulation, feel and sealing of the circuit key package should be fully considered.


Back adhesive layer

The use of adhesive and membrane switch with what kind of material is closely related to the paste, more commonly used are ordinary double-sided tape, 3M glue, waterproof glue and so on.
